Patch 1.29.0 introduces the Nomadic Envoy trader Ermal to Speranza along with the new Rascal grenade launcher. The update also delivers targeted balance adjustments to ARC behavior, augments, and weapons while expanding anti-cheat measures with Denuvo. Players at level 25 can now barter for expanded storage and weekly rotating cosmetics and blueprints.

New Trader and Rascal Launcher
Ermal the Nomadic Envoy has set up camp in Speranza for players who have reached level 25. He accepts high-value ARC materials and rare weapons in return for expanded stash space, expedition vault slots, cosmetics, blueprints, and progression items.

Balance and ARC Adjustments
Key Changes
- Photoelectric Cloak power cost reduced from 10/s to 5/s
- Tactical Mk.3 Cloud of Renewal now an AoE heal increased to 45 with 45-second cooldown
- ARC vision through bushes and smoke now more granular
- Bettina base fire rate increased from 235 to 250
- Extended Barrel mod gains 30% velocity and new lower-tier variants

Bug Fixes and Anti-Cheat
Queen and Matriarch now step over obstacles more often to reduce unfair knockback. Players gain the ability to block others after reporting, and Denuvo Anti-Cheat begins rollout on May 19 to a limited player pool without DRM.
